Pokémon Battle Festival Asia 2021 is beginning in November until the end of February 2022. It is the very first event in Asia featuring tournaments, exhibition matches, and special shows across multiple Pokémon titles such as: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE and Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The tournaments for Pokémon Battle Festival Asia will feature players from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon GO tournaments will take place online and players will be able to compete in the comfort of their own homes. Players will need to qualify on a national level in order to make it to the regional stage, where they will compete against the best players in the Asia region.
Besides the tournaments, a variety of programs have been planned to keep viewers captured in the world of Pokémon. The programs include celebrity showmatches, fun segments and special events, where famous celebrities and influencers from multiple regions will show off their skills and passion for their beloved games. All the action will be live broadcast to allow interaction with the viewers.
