Players must register on ESL Play to participate this tournament.

■ Notice

Playoffs:

For the Top 8 players from each region who advance to the playoffs, there will be travel allowance only for those who come from far places that require over 3 hours bus driving (long-distance bus) or over 1 hour of flight (player’s address will be confirmed in this case).
Tournament organizer will also provide a partial meal allowance to them, who come from far places. Due to allowance will vary according to the regions, further details will be announced later separately to participants.
Players must provide an official proof of current residency before participating in the playoffs.
Players under the age of 18 entering the playoffs must submit a signed parental consent form prior to participation.

Late Arrivals:

If check-in is not completed by the end of the first match, the player will be deemed to have forfeited and will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.
If the player is not seated at the start of each match, they will lose that match.
If the player loses a match due to late arrival and do not apply to continue participating in the tournament by the end of the match, the player will be deemed to have forfeited the tournament and will not be allowed to participate in subsequent matches.

Others:

Other than for reasons deemed valid by the tournament organizer, players are not allowed to forfeit the tournament midway. If a player forfeits the tournament without a valid reason, the results and any rights earned up to that point may be invalidated.
If a player is found to have used a commercial device or code to modify game data, participate using a game software with modified data, or using a Pokémon with modified data or created using a modified code, as described in the “Prohibited Conduct” section below, during the tournament, the player will be disqualified, lose any rights obtained during the tournament and be banned from participating in all future tournaments. Please note that the organizers reserve the right to impose the above penalty regardless of any omission.
Players may be disqualified if they are unable to continue a match due to technical issues with their Nintendo Switch device.
If a match is interrupted due to issues with the equipment provided by the organizer, disruptions to connections due to power outage and other reasons, the match will be replayed.
For the finalists in each category (Qualifiers top 8 players), the names of the Pokémon registered on their battle teams and information on their moves, items, nature, and abilities will be released at the tournament site.

■ Prohibited Conduct

The organizer may penalize any player who engages in any of the following prohibited acts. In addition, any player found engaging in any of the prohibited acts during or after the tournament may lose any rights earned during the tournament may be banned from participating in all future tournaments.

Unlocking the battle team after receiving the digital player ID.
Using a commercial device or code to modify game data, participate using a game software with modified data, using a Pokémon with modified data or created using a modified code
Using a Nintendo Switch console series that has been modified with products other than those officially licensed by Nintendo.
Any action that the organizer deems to have affected the match, such as but not limited to looking at strategy books or notes prepared in advance, using mobile devices during the match.
Any action to obtain information on the opponent's Pokémon team without their knowledge before the match. (With the exception of the Playoffs)
Any behavior that the organizer deems to cause a significant delay.
Any behavior that disturbs or is offensive to other participants.
Registration using fake information or the impersonation of another person.
Other acts and behavior deemed to be inappropriate by the organizer.
